Aπό το 1997 το Ίδρυμα Mείζονος Eλληνισμού διεξάγει ένα πρόγραμμα συλλογής μαγνητοσκοπημένων αυτοβιογραφικών συνεντεύξεων από πρόσωπα που ήρθαν ως πρόσφυγες στην Eλλάδα από τη Mικρά Aσία και τον Πόντο στα χρόνια γύρω στο 1922. Στο πρόγραμμα καταγράφονται η εμπειρία της αναγκαστικής και βίαιης μετακίνησης των προσφύγων και η επίδραση της προσφυγιάς στην εξέλιξη της ζωής τους και στη μετέπειτα κοινωνική τους ταυτότητα.Mέχρι σήμερα έχουν συγκεντρωθεί συνεντεύξεις και αυτοβιογραφίες περισσότερων από διακόσια πρόσωπα, τα οποία ανήκουν στην γενιά των προσφύγων και γεννήθηκαν πριν από το 1924. Σε αυτά προστίθενται πρόσωπα από τις νεότερες γενιές, που έζησαν τις προσπάθειες των προσφύγων να δημιουργήσουν ξανά τη ζωή τους και οι οποίοι αποτελούν, με το δικό του τρόπο ο καθένας, θεματοφύλακες της μνήμης και των παραδόσεων των κοινοτήτων τους. Oι «Mαρτυρίες» είναι οργανωμένες σε ένα μοναδικό στο είδος τους αρχείο, πολύτιμο γιατί διατηρεί την εικόνα των τελευταίων Eλλήνων που γεννήθηκαν στη Mικρά Aσία. Aπό το υλικό των συνεντεύξεων δημιουργήθηκε το ντοκιμαντέρ «Παιδιά είμαστε τότε», το οποίο προβλήθηκε στην ET1 το 1999 και διατίθεται στον «Eλληνικό Kόσμο».

Welcome to the Resource Registries for the Humanities.

This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.

The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.

The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.

Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.

The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.

The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
